Stoptech Performance Pads:

Hawk DTC 70 Pads:

Extremely high torque with aggressive controllable initial bite. Superior release and torque control characteristics. Brake pads designed for cars with high deceleration rates with or without down force.

Temp Range: 400-1,600 degrees Fahrenheit

Porterfield R4-S Pads:

For high performance and heavy duty street conditions the Porterfield R4-S compound remains a top performer in the realm of street/performance brake pads. With the R4-S compound giving a friction level up to .41. This is an amazingly fast stopping brake pad. Simply put, they will give you an impressive increase in stopping ability with very minimum amount of pedal effort. 

 

Perfect for prolonged everyday street driving while also being capable of enduring the most severe use without fade. It is also rotor friendly of course. We have gone to great measures to ensure that the R4-S compound has the absolute lowest noise and dust levels possible, far below O.E.M. equipment or any other high performance brake material. Racing Brake AGGRESSIVE STREET: ET500

This compound is offered for the adventurous drivers who:
   - Do not like loud squeaking
   - Do not like a lot of dust
   - Do like extended rotor life

Being these pads are streetable therefore they are not intended for intensive and continuous hard braking over the temperature and speed limit on the race track, otherwise excessive wear may occur.

Ferodo DS2500

 

The DS2500  is currently the best hybrid track/street pad on the market.   It features the moderately high bite and solid fade resistance of a track pad, with the relatively low dust and noise levels of a street pad.  When used as a street pad, it can produce some squeal on certain vehicle platforms.  During aggressive driving the DS2500 is known for its flat torque curve, which means as temperatures go up, the response through the brake pedal remains consistent.  If you drive aggressively on the street, do some canyon runs, autoX, and maybe some light track duty on street tires, the DS2500 is tough to beat.

 

When used on fast, heavy cars on the track with race tires, pad wear rates tend to be higher than some of the full track pad compounds.  Under those conditions, Essex would recommend the Ferodo DS3000 or DS1.11.
